The Hazelgrove puzzle is a nice one, but I don't think this puzzle is related to it.
The puzzle originally was to pack the 3 large pieces in their 3x3x3 box. The 3 small pieces were loose and could be used to fill up the gaps, but that can hardly be called a puzzle because they are 1x1x1 pieces. There is no obvious letter visible on the outside of the cube, and the cube could be stored in the box with any side up
The 3 large pieces represent all possible variations of their 'type of shape', that is part of the beauty of this puzzle.
Fixing one of the small blocks inside the box was an addition I made in an attempt to create a second challenge after the cube is built outside the box.

That'll teach me for not re-reading an old post, on the same subject I have a broken Hazelgrove Puzzle Louis, do you want it? It's easily fixed with a little glue.

I Would be very happy to (try to) fix it and play with it. What can I swap it for? (other than a blue doolorinth?).
Regards, Louis.

I hope to be at MPP4 Louis (assuming no commitments) so I'll bring it along and you can have it no strings attached (and no there aren't any strings that have become unattached from the puzzle
).
