In some ways I am disappointed that no one else has a Plexisis because I would like to discuss the experience with others. But at the same time the collector in me is delighted to have a completely unique puzzle.

Andrew is planning on making 10 of the new Devil Isis puzzles. He is planning on having the other 9 available on the Sonic Games UK store site soon so I would keep an eye out there and/or the Isis Adventure site and forum.

It's a bummer not to be able to discuss the puzzle with someone, I kind of think that's part of the joy. But as you're also stating, it's really cool to have a unique puzzle.

I'll be sure to keep an eye out. Now I'm waiting for my Tarka and I hope that won't take too long. But I'm in no real hurry since I'm also waiting for a lot of revos. So i have some puzzling to do :D

Here it is:

I enjoyed the isis, but I enjoyed the Revomaze even more. I won't be paying £480 (incl VAT) for this. If it had been a Revo, sure! But not an Isis... It does look super cool! Though I'm not sure I like the white presentation box.

I think there are only so many 'limited editions' you can have of the same puzzle before the phrase 'limited edition' loses all meaning. As a colour scheme I love the red on black though.

Well, to be fair I do own 11 different RevoMazes that from the outside appear to be the same thing with the exception of the colors. I have appreciated the differences done to some of these special edition Isis puzzles (the 1A/1B, 1C, Eden, Extreme, Plexisis, etc).

If it wasn't for the fact that I'm convinced that my 1C was killed when it was "upgraded", I'd certainly have been tempted by the others. I'd love to know how it was supposed to work but it's just not fun trying to figure it out any more.

What's the story with your "upgraded" 1C?

I've only solved the regular Isis of the Sonic games puzzles, so maybe I don't have the whole picture. But even though I found the Isis enjoyable, it was almost luck that solved it for me. I had a rough idea of how to solve it, and I was fiddling with it when suddenly it was solved. Unfortunately I've only solved the Blue of the revomazes, but in that case I could get a sense of progress I didn't get with the Isis. Therefore I think almost £500 pounds is a bit steep, even for a puzzle as limited as this.

But as I'm a newbie, I can be totally wrong. I'm very willing to recognize that. ;)

I have been thinking recently of selling the NKryptor prototypes I have, from wood carved concept to the nearly finished product prototypes. I don't have any use for them but I have no idea if anyone would be interested in them as they're not really in a state of "puzzles to solve" so it's purely for collectibility.

Can you tell us more about the Devil Isis? Is it worth the extra money? Is it harder than the normal and Extreme Isis? Is it a big difference or just a small difference?
I maybe will order one, but I want more information.

Well I haven't solved yet but I've only put about an hour into it. It is different than a standard and Extreme Isis. From what I can hear/feel it reminds me a bit of my 1C (still unsolved) and Plexisis (which has a substantial difference from the standard but I was still able to solve it in a few days). It is a very noisy puzzle with lots of things moving around inside it. I can't say if it is worth it or not but I am enjoying it so far.
