Once you hold one in your hand just imagine "Airport Security" and imagine yourself finding something like it in someone's bag.

I used to work for an airline, Which means I was picked MORE often for random security screenings. I'm so glad I never had to explain a Revomaze to them. They hate things that click.

Believe me, if anyone had received news already they would be shouting it to the world on here. By that I'm going to assume that there is no news as yet.

So unfortunately it looks likely that the MPP this weekend will be another CE-less one.

I do not understand why there is so little information. I can accept that you get the same information every week, that they are late and the expected delivery date is X, but we never get any update at all is bad (maybe once each six months for the moment).

I want a newsletter every week where they tell us about what the status is and what they think about the future (both for the CE-set and all other Revomaze-related information).

Why is this so hard?

It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes each week to post this status update.

Monthly newsletters were done a while back but were stopped because there was either no new information and because possible delivery dates were given that were based on information from the engineers which later didn't happen due the the engineers prioritising other jobs.

I know that both Chris and Joseph are working hard to get the sets completed and shipped but currently, they're not ready.

Thx, for the update.
They told me end of this month, that's why I reacted. So as I understand we better don't pay any attention to their 'updates' and just patiently wait.

Now that the idea of a competition has been laid to rest and plans have been made for the purple, the CE sets are the last items still in the cue to be delivered. The Gold and Lime orders seem to be up to date. I'm not sure anyone outside of Revomaze has seen a purple yet. We don't know if the Purple will be easy to make or difficult. In any case, the CE orders should take priority over the Purple or any new products.

All my communications with Joseph agree with the above priorities. The CE sets may represent between 1000 to 1500 mazes. That's a lot of puzzles to make even if they had exclusive use of the MERC facility. Another possible issue is that these were to be the highest quality mazes that they can make so there may be quality control issues that we aren't aware of. Other out-of-house steps include anodizing and plating which haven't always been easy. Another unknown is that they're doing Gold plating on some of them whch they've never done before. We should remember that each order includes 2 of the most complicated mazes they've ever made, the Silver and the Gold. I hope they're easier to make now than they were initially. Finally all the parts arrive at revomaze and they have to be inspected and assembled by Chris and company. I don't know if they have to be tested or not, but they all should function correctly, assembled or not.

There's other things to be included too. Acetate maps, signed certificates, the cases, maps and booklets all have to be ready too.

As long as they're working on them I'm content to wait, it may be awhile. ;)

Don't get me wrong. I don't care to wait even if it takes another 2 years. I do care about quality etc. I'm just respond to what they told me.

Just would be better not to make any expectations. As people will hold on to them. Now they did communicate end of January, but nothing happend. Than at least let your customers know you'll not make this deadline. Otherwise your customers will speculate and possibly get irritated.

It would be even better to communicate they are not certain and they will come when they come! And give a small update each year.

With delays and things, I know there are a few people that have been chased away from Revomaze entirely

In the company's infancy... there will be hiccups. And i see this time waited as time invested in the follow on R2.

The Golds initially were delayed how long?! And there were still a few parts that needed to be waited on again and again. HQ is committed to a top notch product cuz they know us, their fan base, won't stand for less. But sadly that takes time to get perfect.

I feel bad for the guys who got a taste of the whole collection and are just... waiting... and waiting to really even start the progression of these mazes. And, like most things "dad" would tell us... we'll get there when we get there.

Cake and Patience.

Dad would also probably be disappointed in me for spending ~800 (USD) on a 'toy' and not investing it.
