What is the metal emblem on the box made out of? Brass? Mine was tarnished something awful (at least I hope it's tarnish... otherwise it's pretty screwed up) when I opened the box and I'd like to try cleaning it up. I cant imagine with the way everything else was packed it left this way so I'm assuming it was just the elements in transit.

Everything else is beautiful. But I wish the information/history/map book was there.

Just received my gold plated CE set this week. Everything looks great! Some of the cores have a little discoloration, but hopefully that will be remedied with some polish. Are the draw bars supposed to be gold plated as well?

Mine weren't. The other small bits and pieces weren't either, just the cores.

There are some parts in some of the revos that aren't brass, so these parts will not be gold plated.

Seems like people are finally receiving their sets after the long wait. Unfortunately not so for me. They aren't in my hands, nor have i received any notice about it. I recall reading somewhere that Revo HQ is going to postpone CE production for R2 production. So I am not sure now if I'll ever receive my CE, ordered a year and a half ago.

Is there anyone else that haven't received theirs yet? Or is it just me?

Will, you WILL receive your CE-set. I trust them to 100%, and yes, it will take a while but you WILL receive it.

I think they should send out ALL CE-sets before any of the R2s will be released. I hope you will receive it soon!
