If I had to guess, it would be exactly the same, but with a small bag containing all the pins.
I most certainly hope not!

I ordered gold plated cores and have no intention of ever putting them in the sleeves, don’t want them getting scratched up. They are meant for display. Joseph said that there would be some way to display the cores (in the lid was one possibility but I'm not sure how that would work) but I have yet to see any pictures of it. He also said that they would not be shipped with the cores in the puzzles.

Maybe they are still working on that part of it for the few of us who ordered them that way.

Personally I would like to see a modified version of the 9 puzzle case used in a way to allow 2 sleeves and 2 cores per row. But I’m not 100% sure that is possible.

That sounds like a great idea.

I don't know whether any gold CE sets are shipping yet, but mine is at the gold platers, according to Revoguy

My puzzles didnt arrive in the box they were all wrapped up in bubble in a separate package so i presume the same would be done for the disassembled CE sets as for the display i thought the foam insert in the lid would have slots for the cores but no such luck

I like how the only one you couldn't get the core out to capture the serial no. was the Gold

No worries Jerry,
I hope my video was helpful.
I think the box is stained pine.
After unpacking and looking at all the cores the look very nice indeed.
Pitty Revo HQ missed some springs though.

Yer .. I love that Goliath too ... it's just amazing considering it was made in 1979 using the lost wax casting process. AND ... most amazing it was drawn up by hand .. no 3d Computer software back in those days !!

Chris has it easy ! ;)
