The last word I had from Joseph was that the process requires a number of out-of-house steps and that they're continuing to do whatever they can to get them finished and shipped.

Joe didn't say this, but in my opinion, the out of house stuff is difficult to predict since they likely juggle multiple contracts of varying value and difficulty and Chris is probably one of the smaller clients they have. If there's a problem with a large military or commercial customer, Chris will have to wait through no fault of his own and then we wait as well.

I have tried to contact RevoGuy via PM, but no response, and in this thread, we do not receive any new updates or information. Please give us an update statement or time estimate on when our CE-set will be delivered ...

surprised more CE "owners" aren't up in arms about all the talk of R2 when CEs are no where to be seen, and very little response...

I really thought it should be a better communication and more updates and information when I first read the post from RevoGuy:

My understanding, (having not ordered a CE and therefore had no part of communication about it except here), is that Chris doesn't have any control over the these out of house steps. They'll be done in a specialist milling factory that has thousands of other clients and orders to accomplish as well. Chris can't have sole use of the machines so he has to wait, which unfortunately means we all have to wait.

I'm sure Chris isn't just sitting on them designing new puzzles and forgot to send them out. But while he's waiting for them to be finished, he may as well make some new ones instead of twiddling his thumbs. Especially if the new ones are made on different machines and apparently quicker and easier.

Of course I can't comment on Joseph's lack of communication.

Yes, I also think they are doing what they can do, and you are right that it must be ok to produce other puzzles meanwhile. If I just could receive some information and updates every month or at least answers of my questions I send with PMs, then it is ok for me to wait (but I still think it is boring to wait for them, and I want them now ).
