Sorry to intervene. As far as i know is the new machine Emco EM25 not the machine to produce R2 type of puzzles, as it has a maximum diameter of 85mm for the blank. This is the machine to produce every forthcoming R1 of the revo series.
I always thought mint will be mint with minor changes of the first design. Everybody who has opened mint se knows what part has to be changed for the regular version. The main part of mint will stay because it is the „heart“ of the maze.
For me the higher price for this special edition puzzle is one way to show my deepest respect to the work of Chris Pitt. Revomazes are in one range with Popplocks and i hope we will see some new designs coming up and also some great R2 when the problems shown in the first batch of mercury are solved.
