Hmm. It doesn't actually say that it failed to open, it says "Mechanism not successfully tested". which I thought meant that it had not been opened yet, not that it was likely to be broken. Well now I'm not sure whether to keep it as a collection piece, or attempt to force it open and fix ...

Is it fixable? Maybe I can force it apart and see if it can be mended/re cast....

While I thought the prices were very high, that is probably because I am only working part time at the moment whilst I have other commitments. Next year however...
