Re: Midlands Puzzle Party Saturday 5th February 2011
Brilliant day!
Thank you to everyone for making the effort to come (especially to Louis for flying over from The Netherlands!
).
A special thanks again to Allard and Gill for looking after us (putting up with us!
) all day.
I think we all saw things we loved today and the elusive 'E' will be a highlight for me.
Must get the new Karakuri Cubes and Mr Popp needs some of my hard earned.
I will provide more feedback and further news gathered from RevoMaster and put it in a February update next week.
Can't wait for the next meet up at the Gadget Show and then MPP2 in June.
Cheers guys!

...and a final note form the bloke that got to stay at home and enjoy the day: Thanks to all for coming along and making it a really great day! (Especially Louis for coming across from Amsterdam and Oli and Ali who spent several hours in a car to come along) Thanks to Paul for the goodies, Nigel for organising and Chris for some more Revo-news and background stories.
One last pic for those who couldn't make it: Chris demonstrating some or other newfangled puzzle... but no-one was paying any attention

Hell, I almost forgot, one more big thank you to an anonymous forum member for being enormously generous with the table full of puzzles he sent!... quite a few different ones that I hadn't seen before!

Re: Midlands Puzzle Party Saturday 5th February 2011
Was that the gold?
I recognized 6 from page 1, 2 from page 2, and some puzzles on a plate in page 3 that looked like delicious chocolate chip cookies. Do I win a revomaze when I solve them? A.K.A eating them in massive amounts?
Glad you guys had fun. Wish I lived in Europe to be able to make it to such events.

Yeh, that was a gold, out on display for us all to see
It's amazing, you'l love it! If you get some neat photo editing program then maybe you can zoom in and get a bit of an advantage for when yours arrives

Re: Midlands Puzzle Party Saturday 5th February 2011
Great day was had by all - we all stayed 2hrs more than planned so that says it all -probably the excitement when Chris got the gold out that did it.
Mrs Allards choc chip cookies were best I ever had
- thanks.
Also thanks to those that generously passed round lots of their treasured wooden cubes and boxes to play with had great fun with those - reckon I solved about 12 today so well happy with that.
Thanks for the unique revo key ring and fridge magnet illusion - reckon you will be on the danlock waiting list after today.
Great to meet the Revomaster himself and have a go on Revo no 1
And of course thanks Allard and Nigel for hosting and arranging an enjoyable day.

Looks like a great time was had by all. Can't believe Chris had an open Gold there
Who was looking most likely to try and jump him for it
