I had a go with the "trainer" too while I was at the show. I agree that I think it'll be very useful while trying to solve the maze for the first few times to stop sore thumbs. It does however sometimes make some of the moves a little more tricky I found, and its certainly difficult to get a good opening time with it on.

Hopefully they'll be on the website ready to buy soon so I can get one for when the green comes out! :)

No, you haven't overlooked any pictures, I didn't get any of the trainer. However, imagine the cap off a pritt stick, then imagine that the thickness of the plastic is ~3mm thick... your now imagining the trainer. It's quite simple but quite effective.

Cheers :) Meh, it's alright, unfortunately just because I was first doesn't mean than Im gona be fastest on the day. I hear there's some blisteringly fast times these day that I just can't get near... I just keep telling myself that its all about the performance on the day though :geek:

It really is - remember my post from a while back??

I quote:

'Consistency is the key...

Let's see how the nerves of the Live Event affects times!!!
'

It's easy to sit back in your armchair at home and do it... and with your own super-smooth puzzle rather than a 'fresh' one...

Let's see how those fast lads can do then.... bluesign, don't think your out yet.... 8-)

To be honest I think it'll actually be easier with a "fresh" maze. I usually practice on my #11 which I can get a decent time on. But when I go for a "speed run" I use my #25. I use the #25 as little a possible so as not to wear it out, its literally been open 5 time at the most... almost as "fresh" as the day it arrived!
