Do you let random people play with your Revo?

Post by Coloradobluesguy »

Does anyone else let random people play with the Revo for a bit, I bring it everywhere and constantly have people “What is that thing” then I go into to my sales pitch to get people to go to the site (I’ve sold 4 or 5 people to buy mazes)

I’m still trying to convince one of my friend to buy Revo but he doesn’t want to pay the 20% VAT. :lol: :lol:

Not random people, only friends.
AG 01880 and AG 01912 replaced :cry:
AG 01910 Just unpackaged - on the way :D
IN 00287 Close to have it severely damaged :cry:

Other puzzles I'm seeking for:
-Strijbos: #3 bolt;
-Shane Hales: Haleslock 1 and 2

I have, but not many of my friends would be willing to invest hours in a puzzle like me. They give it a few twists and lose interest.

I dunno about Colorado but here in Nebraska we share things. :)....I kid....but ya I have had plenty of family members play with the aqua so far this Christmas. I have a good friend who I will share all of them with and am interested in seeing how far he gets. I get enjoyment in seeing how others struggle with and try to solve them. Life is about sharing experiences...nice job on selling them!

Tough question! I happily share my revo obsession. Anything else and I'm a little watchful of how it's used.

I had a rough experience with my 9 sided v-cube when I let my dad have a look at it. 5 mins in and it blew up. Pieces all over the place. Not fun picking em all up when drunk. Took 2 and half hours to put back together. Quicker to solve it normally lol

My friends can definitely borrow and try my puzzles if they want to, but I don't have any friends who want to do that :D
And yes, I do have friends, but no puzzle enthusiasts. ;)
I would not give it to random people, I know what happens when you lend random people random stuff...

Only when I'm able to monitor usage. I brought it in for an all-day meeting at work one time and someone let it slide off the conference table and land on it's end. It's a little grindy now and tough to open and the pin is loose. If they aren't holding it, it goes back in the box. I've customarily brought in other mechanical puzzles for this work event but none are quite as table-adverse as Revomazes.
