OMG...just read the article in Wired.

Can make the suggestion that you don't!

Some of us will have some idea of what the inner workings could be, but most won't.

and I also think this thread should be deleted.

Knowing how a puzzle works and knowing how to solve it are two completely different things entirely. I can tell you exactly how a Rubik's Cube functions, but for the life of me I couldn't tell you how to solve it. And since the version pictured isn't even a final production version there's no harm even if you do see the innards.

If you don't want to see it then don't look it up, it really is as simple as that.

Obviously there's two camps here too now. People who think a prototype innards is too much info, and those who don't. It may be easier for one of the camps to avert their eyes rather than deny others, yet that apparently cannot happen for some reason.

Why is it we can't even get an answer as to whether this issue will be released in the US?

Because we don't know!
The last time I spoke to Chris he didn't even know when it was going to be published.

I did see the original thread and thought it was a spoiler but on reflection and the subsequent explanation as to why I can see the logic behind it being posted. I'm switching camps that it should have been posted and aired on the forum although a precursor spoiler alert may have come in handy.

My change of mind is simple. I love the original R1's and I'm really looking forward to the journey of the R2's. Sadly though, without Chris and Revomaze none of it would be possible. Without new sales and new avenues to sell then it could well be a tall order to achieve the last R2 in the series. More sales, a more buoyant company. Sounds like a win win situation to me. :)

Oh yeah... and my ageing mind gives me the ability to forget things. Which is great especially when I need to un-see things. The down side is I always remember what I'm suppose to do before starting a post when I'm sitting in a wet patch!!! ;)

I suppose a new user group could be set up for this topic. That way you have to ask for permission to see the taboo photos. This would prevent inadvertent spoilers for those that can't look away.

Personally it's not going to spoil my enjoyment of the new puzzles, so include me in the group that has access, if such a group is made.

I've added the image back to the first post in a spoiler. Since it's already in the public domain there's no point trying to hide it totally. If you don't want to see it then don't reveal the spoiler!

That's great a nice way to hide anything and give a choice to whether we want to see it.

Thanks bluesign2k. :D
