Lime Revomaze

Post by Will »

I've heard of a Lime Revomaze in the forum, but I have not seen it anywhere...
Is it a rumor or is it a puzzle not released yet?

The lime is no longer going to be produced as a lime. Instead, "a slightly modified “Lime”" design was used as the issue 2 for the handmade.

That's news to me. Certainly good news for those that preordered one of the 20 Handmades that will ever be made. Less than wonderful news for the rest of us. Hope it lives up to the 125 difficulty level. :D

It is indeed true...

its not really bad news as Chris constantly has his mind in development mode. plus there are some folks who wont mind loaning out their puzzles. with enough luck, you might get to try it at some point.

and I assume a new maze will be created for the lime. If that's the case, you'll still get your lime.

How does that work... the issue 1 versus a modified issue 2? And the handmade switch? Could someone explain what all this means?

Sum-up:
From what I've heard, back at the time Handmade was for sale people were paying high prices because they thought it's worth the money. When they find out that the puzzle was no more than a fancy blue, they were disappointed, and Chris was forced to use the old Lime design to do a harder handmade V2. The Lime we see now was a completely new design and was not what Chris had initially planned to be. Still, people agree that the old Lime design was better off as a HM design and I think the new LM maze would be fantastic, too. :)

EDIT: Hey... Just discovered the thread has been moved from general to the Lime forum. Nice mods! Now if you could also move that "Lime?" topic here too...

Which other Lime topic do you mean? If it's the one you linked to I think that should stay since it was regarding the design of the Handmades at the time.

Nah~ The topic I was referring to was titled with the exact words: "Lime?". You can find it here: http://www.revomaze.co.uk/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=6

So what handmade IS... is the second choice... and Lime ends up being what HM should have been? Im not sure why im so confused but!... Is that the easiest way of simplifying it or did i miss something? A simple "flip flop"...
