Nothing unfortunately. I didn't even notice they added links until I started noticing quite a bit of traffic being referred from them.

As long as people find my reviews useful, then I'm happy. And even if they don't, I'm going to carry on writing them for my own sanity anyway. :D

Yeah, funny you mentioned that Stigy - I'd also spotted some traffic coming my way from their web site and followed the links back to find what they'd done - sounds like Oli and I did the same thing...

I'm not getting anything free, or cheaper from Mr Puzzle than anyone else - although I suspect I ought to own shares in them by now!

Like Oli, I'm just writing about the puzzles I like - largely for my own amusement ... the fact that some others seem to find it interesting / entertaining / useful [Delete as approrpriate] is just a bonus.

Have you guys considered ads on your sites? Maybe just a small ad on the home page or something. Or even a puzzle fund so you can buy more puzzles to review :P

Before I forget, I made a small puzzle the other day of my own design. You may be a good person to test it paradox as you live fairly near me so I could drop it off.

I decided even before I wrote my first post that I wouldn't have any of that Google Adsense rubbish on my blog. The only advertising I am happy to do is for puzzle makers like Wil who regularly turn out top quality puzzles, coupled with second-to-none service. Or puzzle manufacturers that I feel comfortable enough to recommend.
I think ads make pages look messy and actually put some people off of visiting all together.

Although if you wanted to donate to the 'Oli Needs Many More Puzzles Fund' I certainly wouldn't stop you. :D

Sounds great to me! I'm always very interested to see brand new designs! Drop me a message whenever you feel to arrange something.

Have you considered coming to the MPP? Your puzzle would get a very thorough testing there! :)

...yet again, I agree with Oli - I decided a while back that I wasn't having ads on the site (I noticed that they try to get you to consider it when you pass particular milestones on page views) - and I'm only going to ever write about the puzzles that I like... several of which were made by Brian Young - to get us slightly back on topic...

Having opened the Gold Revo it was finally time to work on my other major puzzling nemesis:
I wrote in the Gold forum:

At last I can finally say: Opening Bat #49 is finally open!!!

Now that is one magnificent puzzle!
It has taken me over 2 months of on and off puzzling and all I can say is WOW!!!

Many thanks to Allard for pushing me and showing me the puzzle in the first place - and giving me the courage to tell the present Mrs S that I was going to spend a HUGE some of money on a single puzzle!

Many many thanks also to Neil for giving me just enough information to give me the courage to try something with a very firmly stuck piece!

Still quite a few left in my collection to play with but not sure how to match that experience!!
What should I choose next?
