I personally think that I will always find resolving the Bronze to be very entertaining, and challenging as well. I've solved it a whole load of times now just for kicks.RichAE91 wrote:yes your probably right and the green blue and bronze wouldnt be as fun to solve then? or even after solving the silver do you still find the earlier puzzles very entertaining?Stigy wrote: Total time to solve them all would still be higher though.

Yeah, they're still fun, just not quite as challenging and not quite as surprising.

Re: Extreme version stock levels
but i think i will solve them in the order they are supposed to be as i would be dissapointed if i solved the easier mazes extremely quickly because i solved a more difficult one 1st

I solved the Green before the Blue and I think it made the Blue a bit easier to solve. I vote for going in order as well.RichAE91 wrote:but i think i will solve them in the order they are supposed to be as i would be dissapointed if i solved the easier mazes extremely quickly because i solved a more difficult one 1st
PS - Does anyone want to buy the Bronze for me? I'll be your best friend!

Re: Extreme version stock levels
The Silver is discontinued, as is the Green EX yes. Only way to get them now is one of the full collector's sets (if any are left)Xaratas wrote:Now Silver is definitely sold out and wont be build again?

Sejanus, I would have to humbly confess that I would have to be includedSejanus wrote:While I don't want to get too much into a Silver discussion (I only just started mine after a long-ish hiatus) it seems a prevelant thought is that the Bronze is truly the test puzzle of the series. If you can beat that you can beat the Silver given enough time. There have been some people who get to Bronze and simply can't get to solving it (no naming names!) so they honestly have little chance if any at beating Silver. If I recall I read on one of the puzzle blogs that NO ONE had solved Silver without first solving Bronze. Certainly makes a strong case for some semblance of completion order.
in the "no naming names" of not having solved the Bronze extreme yet.

Re: Extreme version stock levels
Me neither... but I got silver and bronze at the same time so I worked on them together, when i got stuck on one moved on to the other... tho I must say I'm not as gung ho on it as I was with blue... maybe because I solved it at work when there was nothing better to do
But now my hubby and I go to school two days a week and bum around the rest of the time, we're also working on a 5000 ravensburger jigsaw puzze Views of Modern Rome, it's brutal
And during game nights solve computer riddles like Machinarium and Samorost-like games...So i find revos to be therapeutic more than anything and generally only mess with them during down time
