I'll wait to I hear official word on the stocks of Green, Bronze and Silver until I order those. Also If I can combine the postage.
The standard golds are limited to 250 only the other 250 are for the collectors sets.

As for the others... I mentioned it before... I personally wouldn't be surprised if/when the current amount of Green Extremes (possibly obs too) and Silver Extremes sell out that'll be it. That's not official, but if I were you I wouldn't expect anything more official than that until after it's too late (if that happens).
I would think that the Green Obs will be discontinued soon in favor of Obs V2, as has been stated at sometime in the past that it would happen. Rereading the "Gold update" post, and the comments about major news being announced at the Gadget Show, I wouldn't be surprised either if the extremes are being phased out...
It's obviously speculation (as yours has been as well, NigelChris), but a couple of clues are available elsewhere as to a likely announcement.
1) Chris posted recently that they were soon to mass produce 100,000 puzzles
2) In the description of the Collector's Edition, it was mentioned that the Revomaze World will be mass marketed.
I think when you look at both together, it's likely that we will see the Revomaze World announced at (or soon after) the Gadget Show (around 7 weeks from now), which I would think would logically bring to a close the production of the more specialized extremes...

Again, all speculation, but the signs are at least kind of pointing that direction...

well i recently put in an order of the silver, in the hopes i can have it before it goes out of stock. This was of course without the current knowledge that it might actually not be reproduced. If this is correct that green and silver will not be reproduced, I am getting the notion to order my green as well.

But it does quite catch my attention where some of them say limited, and some say low on stock. There must mean something behind the wording used, or else the same phrase would have been used for all 4 of the first extremes. I get the feeling that Chris is possibly correct in what he is saying about the green and silver extremes. It does make much sense.

From what I get the stock levels from highest to lowest are;
1. In stock
2. Low stock
3. Limited
4. Last few
5. Sold out

Thats how i think the stock levels work from talking with them on the phone and observing the website over the past few days
3.

I took the plunge! I ordered the blue, bronze and silver extremes. I also had an orange set aside for when my credit card stops melting.

I may have to live off of ramen for a while, but its all worth it. If i stop coming by for a few weeks it just means that my hands are broken and I have not managed to get enough dexterity in my feet to type.
