And i did, i posted somewhere on here about it (although i did cause some minor asthetic damages to the sleeve as i wasnt very cautious) but its easy enough to open a v1 revo and i think it is worth whilc doing for the black to see the core :P

would like to see how you managed it as i am sure there is more than one way to do so.

When if I can figure out how to post pictures from my iPod I'd be happy to.

My modification doesn't bypass the maze at all and wouldn't help get the core out without solving the maze. I created a groove in end of the shaft that allows the core to be removed in much the same way the V2 obsessions work. While I don't mind a groove on one end, I'm sure others would. If I can get the photos into a post I could show you what the Delrin version of the Black looks like without others putting a groove in theirs.

The pictures of the core of the Black V1 Obsession are in the Black Obsession Open forum. I can't post them here and I don't have access to the Black Extreme Open forum which I find a bit useless since I've seen the maze in all it's glory.
