I'm currently in the middle of Amélie. I heard it was a great movie. I'm doing my best to keep up with my limited french and subtitles  So far, so good.

The Big Lebowski was one of the very few films that took me 3 - 4 hours to watch the whole way through for the first time around due to the fact that I had to pause and rewind for laughing fits which ended up in crying, coughing and pains in my cheeks...Excellent film! That and Anchorman are probably my 2 favorite comedy films of all time. :D

One of my favorite Big Lebowski moments...

Younger Cop: And was there anything of value in the car?
The Dude: Oh, uh, yeah, uh... a tape deck, some Creedence tapes, and there was a, uh... uh, my briefcase.
Younger Cop: [expectant pause] In the briefcase?
The Dude: Uh, uh, papers, um, just papers, uh, you know, uh, my papers, business papers.
Younger Cop: And what do you do, sir?
The Dude: I'm unemployed.

Its all about making friends with the right people. When the producers meets you for the first time and recognizes you 6 months later in a room so packed its nearly impossible to move and announces you as "the biggest fan we've got" well one's chance of getting into these sorts of things increases substantially!

"Go big, or go home!"
