Kilian, just finish 8 days of radiation therapy, now we are in the phase where he only has to go to the hospital once a week maybe even less later on he is doing well just lost a lot of weight one the last treatment so now we are trying to fatten him up OS he does better in the next phases. Still the most amazing person I know.

Thanks for the update Adam - you know we're all rooting for the little guy (that video was tremendous - he clearly has a really great spirit!)

Hang in there buddy...

I think your son is one of the most amazing people many of us know. Glad to hear he's on the back side of the radiation and still so chipper!

My family is amazing, my wife is running a marathon to raise money for blood cancer research.

That's the link (no puzzles will be harmed in the marathon) you can donate international. You can also make it anonymous if you like.

Forgot the update, kilian is doing really good. Blood values dropped for awhile but they are back up. He has been spending his time memorizing song names and bands of old school rock thank you pandora. He has a lot of energy but a lot more treatments to go, 2 years left.

Here is an update on my son, He was sick for awhile, because some of his Chemo was not being processed correctly by his liver, which coupled with a virus shut down his digestive track so he would eat and the food wouldn't go anywhere but back up and out. he is doing better now but the docs are still concerned with his liver/iron values as too much iron in the system means his body starts storing in places that it shouldn't like the muscles in the heart etc. we are going in tomorrow for another round of IV chemo and more tests. but he is feeling a lot better so I hope that the test show improvement also. I am sorry I haven't posted an update in awhile, life gets in the way sometimes.

Please don't take this as too direct of a solicit from you guys and gals but this is what my wife has been doing.
Sandra just finished her first Olympic distance Triathlon at the CAPTEXTRI in Austin and now she is going for a half ironman distance(70.6Miles) at the Kerrville Triathlon Festival. She is an amazing woman working for a cause that is very close to our hearts curing blood cancer. Since my son was diagnosed with Leukemia in July 2009 our lives have changed, I can never stop worrying about my son. But my wife is working to cure it, her goal is to prevent any family from having to go through what we are. It's been a long rocky road for us, but my son is a trooper. Kick cancers butt.
