There's no problem with being "weird". I people call me a nerd or geek, I take it as a compliment.

Think of how boring it would be if there weren't people like us around :P

I'm not so sure about spacial awareness discussion. From birth we all condition/train our brains to ignore/lessen the response to stimuli from the various organs of the body that act as receptors for information. obviously I am talking about sound, light, smell, taste etc., but also the spatial information. To use/train the body to respond faster or with more finesse requires a concious effort and practice and most of us do this routinely throughout our life carrying out simple tasks such as writing, shaving, applying make-up (if you are so inclined) etc.
I think that in the case of puzzlers the difference does not lie in the application of spatial or co-ordinative awareness, but in the constraints that limit the movement or undersatanding of the puzzle mechanism and the knowledge that a solution is available. Put simple monkeys have good spatial awareness but would not find a puzzle interesting because the reward is too abstract. We like to solve puzzles because somewhere in our diseased brains we have managed to convince ourselves that we are good at something. Perhaps not...

Level of testosterone in the womb has been directly linked to spatial skills, as it affects the formation of the mind in the areas that are responsive to spacia-temporal relationships. Even better, it also effects the length of your ring finger. And, is also related to technophobia.

Random stuff that does not make sense

Post by Gdamatov77 »

So I was thinking today, and before like a few years back, how in the movies and T.V. shows they always say, "Call me."

I wonder, if it is someone they just met, they say "call me." My question which I pose to you is how can that person call them if they don't have the person's phone number?
