Random Fun

So get this... This morning I get an email from my Girlfriend saying she is stuck in London and lost her wallet and she needs me to send her money. I think to myself wow, she's quick because 20 minutes ago she was on my couch watching TV  She then calls me because all her friends/family are calling her to make sure she's ok. So, she goes to login to her email and is locked out. Unfortunately it's hotmail and they have crap for customer service and no contact number. Their only solution is to reset her password and they will email her new one to her. Kind of pointless when it will just go straight to the hacker that hijacked her account  While we wait, I'm been having fun contacting them since they are monitoring her email. I had them send me the address of where to send the money and even a contact number in London  It's a 070 number so it's just routing to somewhere else, but still it's amazing what they will send you when they think you are actually going to send money. Too bad I can't have the UK cops waiting at the Western Union office to meet them when they go to pick up the money

Anyone want to go hang out with a bunch of friends and beat the crap out of them when they show up ;)

My next email is going to have them meet at a local pub or something where a close friend will have the money because I don't trust Western Union and you just can't be too careful with all the internet scamers ;)

my dad got suckered into a similar scam on a TV, but he actually sent the money. luckily because of the time difference the western union in the UK wasnt open yet and we got a stop placed on the transfer. for everyone, do not send money to another country unless you approch the person you are sending money to. if they approach you, its likely a scam.

:D That would have been good as well. Unfortunately, I was able to recover the account before I could send them on a wild goose chase :(
Now it's just sending out the emails to make sure no one was stupid enough to actually send money.
