The Unmechanical FAQ states that you currently require either:

iPad 1 or newer
iPhone 3GS or newer
iPod Touch 3 or Newer
a PC running windows XP SP3 or newer

and that...
Q: Will the game be available on Mac and/or Android?
A: We really want to release standalone versions on these platforms, but have had technical issues which have hindered us so far. We will continue to try! There is however nothing stopping you from playing the game using Onlive, which once released will be supported on both said platforms!
Hope that helps.

I would have preferred an Android version but due to the above, I've currently bought the PC version on Steam (I'm yet to play it).

I love this game! My only complaint about it is that it's relatively short...I finished in a day or two. It's beautiful though.

Another similar game I wholeheartedly reccomend is the Machinarium.

Machinarium is my all-time favourite. The Room is pretty cool too. My only Unmechanical issue so far is it seems to be rather linear (un-like Machine) - certainly a a fun experience nevertheless.

The graphics have come along ways since King's Quest 8-)

Not quite the same, but rather a puzzle platformer, I have been enjoying Penumbear lately.

Played Unmechanical, but found it to be very linear and it did not let me explain many of the parts I would have loved to know more about. And I was left rather confused as to the actual story.

I just played the room this weekend too =] It made me think of the Stickman constellation puzzle chest. They should make a virtual version so other people can play with it =]
