I got bored at level 7 because there is so little variation.
Still flying in Western europe only.
What's new in the next fee levels?

Maybe a bit more information might be helpful?

From what I gather, Lumosity looks to be a browser based 'brain training' system which claims to enhance your mental capabilities using games and exercises.

Did for several months, stopped for a couple months, started up again last week. My "Problem Solving" stays above the 90th percentile. My overall BPI was up to the 89th percentile in June when I dropped out for awhile.
Some of the games are actually fun (unlike a certain orange mechanical puzzle i've temporarily given up on).
I use lumosity for the same reason I didn't map anything before the orange revomaze - to keep my memory sharp. My memory has always been good, seems what's slipping is the ability to apply what I've remembered

Flow and Flow Bridges (and UnblockMe Pro)

Post by TheWaddler »

Been meaning to mention this for a while now, but does anyone play these??

They are two games on iDevices and Androids. Basically you have to join several corresponding colours and fill the grid to complete the level, and there are plenty of levels and grid sizes. Flow Bridges is the same but they've introduced bridges (duh!!!) which allows two paths to cross.

There are free versions of both games and they both have plenty of levels, but they only cost £2.99 and £1.59 respectively and there are stacks of extra levels.

Im addicted to them atm and im nearly finished the first one (all 1,740 levels!!!) ;)

I also play UnblockMe Pro, which is a simple "move the wooden blocks to get the red block to the exit" game, with ....... over 4,200 levels (i think) ;)

I play the flow one. Its pretty fun, especially the larger iPad levels (10x10 and up). Smaller than that is a little to easy. Not a fan of unblock me only because Ive played so many iterations of that type of puzzle over the years. The only type of that puzzle that one I do still enjoy is the actual Rush Hour puzzle and the expansion packs with the convertible, taxicab, and limo.

I used to design printed circuit boards and Flow is a very, very similar experience. Almost like training for printed circuit board design. A lot of what I used to do is automated now.
