You have to marvel at the shear ingenuity and artistic talent of people like that.
Sure beats the pile of bricks on the floor classified as art ...(IMHO).
Now .. have you got one of those flashy things the men in black have so I can forget I ever saw them.
My bank account is already forming a whirlpool and I don't want to end up needing the IMF to bail me out of my debt crisis !

Oh how I would love to see a time-lapse video of one of these being carved!
Can the pages still be (carefully) turned? Or are they glued once finished?

I think most of those are glued. However, a gallery in Seattle had some a few years ago and the pages were still turnable.
I think there is a video of another artist doing this floating around. I will ry to remember to check my queue for them.

Yes. $4,000 is the start price. I have seen a few for sale at $2,000. And they can quickly go $10,000+.
