Puzzle Display and Storage

Post by stet »

What do you use to display and/or store your puzzle collections?

Here are my cabinets:

They are Ikea "Billy" book shelves with glass doors and a lot of glass shelves (I added a lot of extra holes for mounting the extra shelves) along with "Dioder" lights.

...mine are also (mostly) in Billy cabinets - only difference is mine are oak - I reckon that glass shelves with some internal lights would definitely improve mine...

I've had to reorganise and expand things a wee bit since the pic I posted in the Puzzle Collections thread back in January...

I really wish I had the space at home to display my puzzles properly. :(

Very impressive picture there!
Last week I finally expanded my puzzle storage space by 200%. A beech (laminated) Billy cabinet with glass doors now holds most of my collection. I also added glass shelves, but did not (yet?) replace the wooden shelves, that may be a good way to increase lighting.
Once it is finished I will take decent pictures of it.

nice collection. other than rubiks style, Revo, and Isis, it was cool to spot the Jade puzzles and the Legends series.

did they ever come out with puzzle 7?

Not as yet. We know it'll be called 'Secrets Of The Pyramid', but that's about it. :?

I actually heard from Family Games two weeks ago about puzzle 7, Secrets of the Pyramid, I was told it should be available "within the next year".
There has been problems ongoing with 7's release with similar statements before though. ;)
