The apartment above mine caught on fire today, their sprinklers went off, and flooded my apartment. Yet somehow, my living room electronics appear to have escape the flood as well as my bedroom. Also, I moved my revomazes to my bedroom along with their certificates YESTERDAY!!! How lucky is that? If I hadn't moved them I would have a water logged not-a-canyon right now. Although, maybe I could get across it then. So yeah while it sucks that my apartment is gushy right now it could be sooooo much worse. Funny story, so I've been super busy with last week of the semester/getting ready for finals so I haven't had time to open it yet. That's right, fully incased in plastic and it was about a foot away from the water line when I got home so I moved it to my room. Now it's safe and sound next to my bed. The best part is that I had a bit of time yesterday and I thought about starting the puzzle. I'm soooooo glad I decided not to. Yeah, my puzzle table was completely clear and covered with water. Hooray for watching Psyche instead of puzzling. Also hooray for cleaning my apartment yesterday and doing laundry. You know, your entire apartment could have been burnt to a crisp, the entire electronics and wiring gone, your floor flooded beyond belief, and you could have been severely injured.
