Size-wise - personally I don't think you should go for anything smaller for a 'real' puzzle - sure if it's something you're making to prove a point about what's possible, but not if you're expecting it to be played with and solved... just my own opinions, and they're two-a-penny around here... Yes as above. They are the perfect size for a keyring and also for a fun workable puzzle.

The rules.
The rope must pass through each hole. It must touch each peg. All red markers must be on the back of the puzzle board. The second to last marker must finish just through the last hole.
No going around the sides.
The last bit of rope(3")ish and red marker do not do anything.
The puzzle only has one correct solution and this will make sense as it is not random.
