I'm interested in coming but wont be able to confirm until closer to the date as im not sure what work load i will have from uni around that time!

I realize it might be a be premature, but what times of day were you thinking the event might be? Reason I ask is I might just be in the "general" neighborhood and willing to swing over, depending on when you are thinking of holding the event during the day/night ..etc.
