Killing Time?

Post by DeepRed »

So i was just wondering (as im on leave at the moment and so have quite a bit of 'wondering' time on my hands) what you guys are all doing to while away the hours till your Revomaze arrives?

personally i have been building a new shelving unit for the dvd collection, working through some Hanayama puzzles, watching dvd box sets and generally taking it easy (which is what being off work is all about i believe) but how about you guys?

no, not the military. believe it or not (and my parents and a few of my old friends cant quite believe it seeing they know more about my not-too-brilliant past) im an armed police officer. its not quite as exciting as you may imagine as the force that i work for's main role is a counter-terrorist one at nuclear licenced sites in the uk.

honestly not that exciting. but the pay is good. and the time off is great

when there isnt compulsory overtime that is

As an aside...

I thought people would be working on Brain Teaser No.3... FREE GREEN up for grabs and it is still available...

There are some people working on this... but not many... It only takes a fresh pair of eyes...

Well i'm sure the guys that work there appreciate your service. when i ran some nuclear power plants for the navy we had to defend ourselves and we were not allowed to do anything that might injure an attacker. so we were pretty much limited to pressure points.

right like a russian black ops team is going to be stopped by 4 nukes doing pressure point control. ha ha go team USA!

Hrm, ive been spending time learning about simple raid setups. Some friends want two hard drives set up so one mirrors the other. They have a lot of baby photo's they are afraid of losing in a crash.

that and sampling a load of imported beers.
