With all the buzz about the gold and orange coming out us lucky 20 still have no clue on the progress of the handmades. Anyone on the inside or the outside care to shed any light on the subject?

Eh? Supposedly they are done and being shipped along with the Gold and Orange.

Which means those of us getting all three are totally screwed. Which do we start with? How much time do we spend on them? ARGH!

Gold seems the obvious choice, as it is the contest oriented one. But Orange is bound to be fun and actually solvable unlike the Gold and Handmade. However, being first to solve the Handmade would be one hell of a coup.

Of course, given that the Gold and Handmade are going to be ridiculously hard, it seems obvious what is going to happen for me.

1) Play with the Gold as soon as it lands, look at the algorithm, figure out the relationship. -- Note, I think I actually figured out what it's going to be a couple weeks ago, so if I'm right I'll have a nice jump forward in getting started on it.

2) When I get stock on the Gold, pick up the Handmade, give it a quick cruise, just long enough to be frustrated.

3) When I need a mind break and to just have fun and know I can actually solve these things -- I haven't opened one in over a year now -- pick up the Orange and work on it, see how far I can get. Once stuck, go back to #1 and repeat.

I hear ya Maz! Going to be a nice balance between all three but I really am most excited for the handmade! Although last I heard was that there was a delay with the handmade. I don't know all the details on what's going on but I guess it's the algorithm that's a turn off on the gold for me. Anyway, here's to hopefuly having wrecked hands before Christmas!

my package is noted at 1.2kg. since i have 2 golds, and orange, and a handmade... im really not sure which puzzles are in there. i assume a gold and orange. assuming a puzzle weighs 600g x 2 + packaging. then again, thats assuming the weight is correct. we'll see tomorrow if there is an update.

either way though, i dont think there is a handmade in there.

I think the Handmade won't be in there either. I too am waiting for a Silver, 2 Golds, an Orange and a Handmade. I'm told that I have been sent one Gold (#25) and the Orange and that the other Gold (#11) will ship later. Apparently there is going to be an update about the Handmades in the near future.
