So cruel!

Yeh, same here... one day I'll get it open (maybe)

I think this is true for so many people here. I'd do / pay pretty much anything to get me a purple but I know I'm not fast enough on any of the puzzles so I've pretty much resigned myself to either not having one or having to pay silly money to one of the lucky ones a good few years down the line. Or maybe it'll just be my lucky day *crosses fingers*

Mine is currently still sitting fairly untouched on the shelf... I've had a few goes on it but I'm really wanting to crack the silver first

Bah! Troll! :P

Really though? Because I don't find the silver that hard (in terms of the path).

So this seems to be a case of poor mapping. Remember that mapping the traps are just as important as mapping the progression path.

Did you ever play Super Mario Kart? There's one course called "Rainbow Road". Do you remember what's so difficult about that level? (I don't feel like I'm giving too much away as this has been discussed thoroughly in the boards and in an interview with Chris).

The silver path was pretty straightforward...until it disappeared

...and then you find yourself in the swamp! (Suspect that's where bluesign2k was - but my memory may be wrong... and this is the wrong forum for that conversation anyway...)

Troll, out.
