Wow...£155. That seems to be a lot for this puzzle, even with a prototype core. Before bidding any higher, I suggest you read through the available red posts and bid accordingly if you're simply bidding for the red puzzle. If you're bidding for the prototype core, go nuts!

Unplated cores work fine, but experience more wear and tear over time. The plated core will be included with it.
The interesting thing is that whoever receives this is technically receiving the answer to the Red at the same time.
