The Designs are done and I'm printing out the map holder right now. I'll start printing the pen holder before I go to work this afternoon and assemble it when I get home. If the parts fit on my V1 mazes, do you want to test out the pen holder for the Obsession mapper?

I can probably do that.....of course I have to pay to have it printed since I am not a Maker :)

And btw, very helpful in getting me out of the pool on the bronze :)

@ReallyBigTeeth....the pen isnt working that great, not enough constant pressure. Going to go to Staples later to see if I can find something that works better.

I am wondering if maybe using something like a "set" screw to hold the pen tight....not sure the plastic can deal with that especially over time. just an idea...

If the pen needs more pressure on the paper, shorten the elastic band or add a second band. Make sure the pen can slide through the hole without any resistance. If the hole is too small, drill, sand, or file the hole to the right size for your pen. Using a half empty pen works well because you can cut the empty length of tubing off, making it less likely that the rubber band will bend the pen tube.

I just did a test fit of the map holder. It has a snug fit and it's just the right length. I'm printing a pen holder for it now.

Yeah tried some of those suggestions. May change to a metal pen refill since that definitely wont bend :)

Off to Staples in a bit.

I found that an ink pen works better than a normal one. I‘m currently using a „Pilot Frixion ball“ pen.
The ink flows better than with a normal ball point pen and as it’s erasable small mistakes can be redone.

It looks like it will do the job. I think the diameter of the grip on the pen holder may be too small. I'm not sure if I should make it bigger or not.

I've attached the files if you want to test them out.

Edit (2019 01 18): Included pen retainer in attached file.
Edit (2019 01 19): Included files for V2, and both Obsession V1 and Obsession V2 puzzles.

OK, getting the new pieces printed up should have it Monday to play with.
