If you pic 'Other' 'Something Completely Rediculous' or 'Combination' please explain your thoughts.
I picked both 'Metal' and 'Stone' because I'd like stands that match the puzzle. The "Metal" named puzzles would have the same metal stand as its name suggests, and the others would have stone or marble stands that match their color.

A metal puzzle display case might be interesting! Something that requires a bit of a trick to open it.

Combination was one of my choices.
Combination- Carbon and Metal. Does it work? I think it would but I am not sure

My issues with the metal are that it might scratch the puzzle. however carbonfiber strips where the puzzle rests would prevent that. also maybe some accets night be nice. give it a modern techno-'logical' look.

if it was just plain metal, yes, it would scratch the puzzle. But think of carbon fiber strips with metal infused into it. Or the other way around to be more precise. Think about it

this can totally work. I know a company that makes fairings for motorcycles that are comprised of carbon fiber and kevlar interwoven. metal 'thread' is used in machine shops, so what you are thinking of, i dont know if anyone does it, but it can be done. a stand might cost more than a CE, but it can be done.

Id like to see just a simple plastic stand. Something similar to the stand one of our members created.
And maybe some sort of plexi case to display them all in.

Now i love this idea. Personally i'd like to see it made "move resistant" meaning that moving the case wouldnt mean risking puzzle movement.

Clear Perspex would be great for me it would give the illusion that the Revomaze is floating in mid air.

I was thinking maybe a glass stand with clear silicone buffers to protect the metal.
Also to pitch it vertically, table standing or wallmounted.
