RevoHQ History

Post by prodigy »

I thought it could be fun with some history facts so I have gone through the forum and RevoHQ page a couple of times today :)

Black Extreme
The Black has been designed by Adrian from the engineering firm who felt that Chris Pitt was loosing out on the experience everyone else was having. Due to that Chris enjoyed the Black so much he asked for a limited run of 20.

The Black was not part of the main series, they were the first limited editions puzzles and was offered first to forum members who had emailed Chris and owned both the Blue and Green revos.

20 puzzles were sold for £90 each (£69.95 Puzzle + £10.95 Stand & Coin + £9.10 p&p), Chris had the original prototype, Michael had the sign-off BK-00LE and the engineers had one for their display at the factory. Chris has guaranteed that no more V1 Blacks will ever be made, so they will be one of the most valuable mazes in the future.

The Black LE included both a stand, a coin and it was a certificate of ownership signed both by Chris and the maze designer Adrian.

Yellow Extreme
Due to Chris Pitt liked the Black Extreme so much, he asked the Adrian at the engineering company to design another maze - the Yellow Extreme.

The Yellow Extreme was not part of the main series and should have been a Limited Edition (limited to 20) only offered to anyone who also owned both a Black Extreme LE and Handmade LE. The remaining Yellow Revos should have been offered as prizes in future competitions.

Due to problems with the engineering company, the Yellow Extreme LE wasn't produced and released. Instead the Yellow and Handmade should first be merged as combination with the Yellow sleeve together with the Handmade core. The final solution was that the Handmade was released with the original sleeve but together with the Yellow Coins.

Handmade
The Handmade Revomaze was originally named Red until the plastic version of Red came out and the name was changed to Handmade.

The Handmade was originally made in a limited release of only 20 puzzles that required 18 hours (5 hours to make the maze) each to be craft on Chris own machines from scratch (other than the spring) with the same format as REVOMAZE 1 with hand polished finish. Each was supplied with a special certificate and case.

Only two Issue 1 Handmades were delivered to Allard and Louis due to a disappointed first review from Louis. Instead the Handmade was delayed and a modified Lime (Lime today is a totally different puzzle) design as the Issue 2 of the Handmade.

The Yellow Coins went with the Handmades due to no Yellow were produced.

There are slight imperfections between each maze and the description of the puzzle included "beware the quicksand, pot hole traps, micro bridge, long wall, hurdle, long bridge, Rack and some twists and turns along the way".

Each maze had a 10 character code inside once opened and you could join a competition where the price was the first handmade 1/3 scale RevoMini.

The Handmade can still be requested by commissions from RevoHQ.

Red Extreme
The Red Extreme is not part of the main series and is a limited edition with a limited run of 125 from the first engineers.

Chris wrote "The RED puzzle is red for a reason - the design is for a reason - the solution is eventually going to become known ...".

The Red will never be made again and has been discontinued due to too complicated programming and low demand (it cannot be made on Chris own machine).

The Red Coins went to the owners of the Red Extreme with the serial R00001 to R00020.

There were some plating issues during the time that the Red was produced so some of the Red mazes can have this issue.

Purple Extreme
There was originally a plan for "The ReVoMaze Puzzle Challenge 2009-2010". The aim was to have a social event where all could meet and enjoy the challenge and show off their speed skills. The ideas for the competition was to have 10 Purple mazes as prices (5 for USA and 5 for rest of the world). There should be speed solving with world records, one for each color including Purple.

There never was a social event and instead two Purple went to the two serial code winners and a Purple Competition "Purple Lottery" was held during six month 2013 with 10 lottery winners. Chris Purssell and Nigel Croot received one Purple each for their work on the forum. 6 puzzles were sold on commission making the Purple limited to 20. Chris will not produce any more Purple maze and it is today in the category Limited Edition (fixed number that WILL NOT BE RE-RELEASED) together with Black and Black Merc.

The promise /guarantee wasn't kept long and in March 2021 RevoHQ released a new batch with 8 puzzles with the price £2000 excl VAT. So for the moment 28 exists and can probably still be requested by commissions from RevoHQ.

Orange Extreme
The Orange Design Competition was held during a year (2010-2011) and the winner should receive a personally made prototype "REVOMAZE 2" by Chris as a price and the design should be the Orange Extreme. A panel (forum members and Chris Pitt) all voted for the winner design made by Mark James (Mark76). There were high quality of competition entries and the other designs should NOT be wasted. Parts of the other designs may have been used as basis for the Titanium and Purple.

Orange has a design idea to storm a castle (you start in the village, storm the castle and escape in the forest) and was originally a Limited Edition of 250, but this have been changed and the Orange is no longer classified as a limited edition.

Orange.jpg (248.48 KiB) Viewed 29818 times

Lime Extreme
The original Lime design was modified and used as the Issue 2 of the Handmade after a bad review of Issue 1 from Louis.

Lime was originally a Limited Edition of 250, but this have been changed and the Lime is no longer classified as a limited edition.

The Lime was the first stamatic progression maze and the design is influenced by the Ferrari Dino.

There have also been an update to the Lime design so the V2 version should be slightly harder to solve than the V1 version.

Black Merc Extreme (Black V2 Extreme)
The original Revomaze Black V1 was made by the first engineers and after the change to new engineers, a new Black Obsession V2 was produced by the new engineers called Merc Engineering.

Black V2 Revomaze is the only design not done in metal, so darctangent has commissioned Chris to make the Black Merc in metal and it will be a Limited Edition of 22 (plus the prototype). It will be made on Chris own machine and once finished, no more will be made under any circumstances.

The serial numbers will be BM00-20 to BM21-20, where M is for MERC. The serial BM07-20 was initially reserved for a lottery for all the people who did not reserve one in time, but due to lack of interest the lottery was cancelled.

The puzzle will be a bead blasted black with nickel plated core. A slight re-design of the end is needed to make it as an Extreme instead of the Obsession V2 but it will not impact the puzzling experience.

Chris thought the prototype should be kept within the 22 Black Merc owners and a lottery decided who became the owner.

Titanium Extreme
Chris had first planned to make a plastic version of the Titanium that should go out to all persons that had pre-ordered the CE set. Due to the Gold delay Chris decided to change the Titanium SE to metal and at the same time make it a little bit special with an un-plated core and raw sleeve but a bubble Revomaze label and a steel drawbar.

The Titanium SE was limited of 50 and sent to the first 50 that pre-ordered the CE set. The serial was Ti(SE) XX-50.

The Titanium Extreme was included in the CE set that is limited to 250 and the only way to get the maze. Due to high demand, the Titanium was later released as a standalone maze.

Gunmetal Extreme
GunMetal was originally limited to 500 and exclusive to Marbles Brain Store and was only sold only through them. The initial price was $299. Marbles Brain Store did also sell Blue and Green with exclusive color version. The mazes did not have any unique serial number and instead it had the Marbles logo.

Years later there were a small run with limited numbered GunMetal sold by RevoHQ with the serial GM XX-12. Today the GunMetal is not a limited edition any longer and available directly from RevoHQ.

Copper Extreme
Copper was announced together with Gunmetal and initially a limited edition of 125. A Copper SE version (gold plated) exists and is limited to 5 with serial CUX-5SE. Today the Copper is not a limited edition any longer and available directly from RevoHQ.

Mint Extreme
The Mint Handmade was first released (limited to 30 with the serial MT XX-30). The purpose was to get feedback from a small group before the production version was made. Marbles boxes was used for the pre-production Handmade Mints as RevoHQ was running low on boxes. The Mint Handmade has a bead blasted sleeve and a un-plated core.

The design was slightly changed after the feedback from the pre-production group and the production version had a slightly different color.

Indigo Extreme
This is a special Revomaze as it was designed by Chris Pitt and Shane Seward over a period of 3 months. Shane had originally a couple of features which were not suitable for a production puzzle so Chris came up with a solution that was innovative and added to the overall design.

If you look carefully at the core, you should be able to find Shane's initials in there, but they are well hidden!

Initially Shane wanted it to be white, but the color wasn't possible to anodize.

A Indigo SE version (gold plated) exists and is limited to 5.

Blue Extreme
The first 12 mazes made was put onto Ebay selling for £60 each. These was the Special Edition version with the serials BU00001-12SE. The SE version did not have the reset end curves to stop burring when the shaft was pushed back hard.

The coin was later sent to the owners of the SE version.

It took 9 years until the complete secret of the Blue solution was posted in public (by Mr Puzzle).

Blue.jpg

Green Extreme
Soon after the first 12 Blue production versions were shipped to the eBay customers, the Revomaze Green 1.0 was designed. This early design for the Green had a flaw so the Green Revomaze 1.1 was produced.

The first 12 was the Special Edition engraved with GR00001SE-12SE, the rest of this first batch had numbers from 13-200. It was decided at this point to make 5 in the set (Blue, Green, Bronze, Silver and Gold) and sets were sold to the 300 club — which paid £300 for the set of 5 puzzles.

Green.jpg

Bronze Extreme
The design of Bronze was decided after inspirations from the possibilities that engineers had with their advanced machinery, together with hearing that some people were mapping the puzzles too easily.

The reaction to the Bronze was initially mixed and people were confused by the new features and Chris decided to give some clues via the user forum and website.

Bronze.jpg
Bronze.jpg (67.83 KiB) Viewed 27958 times

Silver Extreme
Chris first machined 100 puzzles. The first 12 was the Special Edition puzzles. Four of them were used as prototypes for testing and 96 were plated, sold and shipped. The trouble reports started to come in and people were getting stuck in the swamp but a few people did open the version 1.0. Chris decided to replace all the 96 mazes that had been sold with the new improved version 1.1.

Originally a clue was given on the website.

Today the Silver remains one of the hardest Revomaze puzzles to solve.

Silver.jpg
Silver.jpg (65.06 KiB) Viewed 27958 times

Gold Extreme
The Gold was limited to 250 puzzles and the solution is unique to every puzzle.

The initial version 1.0 was made by hand as a prototype to demonstrate the operation. Once produced a few changes were required to make the puzzle usable.

The engineers then created their version 1.1 from the prototype and after some testing a re-designed version 1.2 was created and sent out to all that had pre-ordered the puzzle.

The final version 1.3 was made for the CE sets with minor changes.

Initially the Gold required the solving of an algorithm based on a code, a key and 9 clues that was sent to the customers. The algorithm concept caused a split between users who enjoyed solving mechanical puzzles and those who enjoyed solving mathematical problems. When the Series I Code Competition were over RevoHQ decided to send out the solution codes to the customers.

Chris also decided that future puzzles must be solvable from the box which now is the foundation of the Revomaze puzzles.

Salmon Extreme
The Salmon was announced March 2016 and two weeks after the announcement the pre-orders started limited to 40. The initial plan was to release it for Christmas 2016.

In February 2017 Chris had all the mazes and parts ready to assemble and ship but the plating is thicker than planned and the small parts did not fit and had to be modified. After Chris tried to modify the parts he realized it was quicker to remake some of the small parts.

When Chris first assembled the prototype Salmon he was not happy with the solve and the parts/design had to be slightly changed.

The Salmon has 39 parts, much more than our Silver with 16 parts. Some of the parts require precision machining to 0.01mm to ensure a reliable working puzzle.

After a lot of problems with RevoHQs new machine the first fully working Salmon production prototype was first finished in August 2019 and released to the testers.

The V3 version of the Salmon was finally released (January 2020) before the V1 version (July 2020). Due to a problem (for people using more pressure while solving) the V1 core was modified before the release and the V3 with an issue 2.

The V1 version has been produced both in a plated version and a non-plated version.

A final batch (with around 70) of the Salmon Extreme was later released in October 2022.

Aqua Extreme
In March 2014 we heard about the Aqua for the first time in a post about "Refer a Friend Bonus". In early October 2015, the pre-orders started with the price £75 excl VAT. The first batch of 100 puzzles was later released in early December 2015.

Turquoise Extreme
In July 2019 the Turquoise was announced together with the new V3 design that was a new maze maze body machined in brass that fits into a two-part stainless steel body that ends up with a complete maze. The V3 design solved two major problems that Chris had identified:

- Due multi-levels puzzles, the small steps are sometimes cheat-able due to the nickel plating process that adds material and rounds off edges. Mazes that are unplated are smoother and have crisp edges making the maze usable as we intended.

- Small runs cost the engineers much more due to setup costs and for each design, RevoHQ had to make a minimum of 100 units and that makes them expensive. The V3 design can now instead be made in-house and small runs are possible.

The Turquoise was released six month later in December 2019.

Grey Extreme
In July 2019 the Grey was announced as an intermediate level puzzle together with the Turquoise and should be released for Christmas 2019. In late November the same year we received information that the Grey wouldn't be released that year due to it's complex design that needed more time.

When the puzzle was finished in late October 2020, it was put out on the RevoHQ shop and Batch #1 (20 Special Edition puzzles with the price £225) together with batch #2 (50 puzzles with the price £235) sold out fast. The difficult level was also changed to an advanced level puzzle.

A couple of days later, early November 2020, we received pictures of Grey and that RevoHQ now had started to assemble Batch #1 and it should be shipping later that week and Batch #2 should be shipped two weeks later.

Sapphire & Emerald Extreme
In late February 2022 three new mazes were announced and two of them were Sapphire & Emerald. Three days later both were available for pre-order.

In the beginning of March both prototypes were sent to the testers (three testers for each). No problems were found with the mazes and they could, as planned, be released late in March 2022.

Ruby Extreme
In late February 2022 a new advanced maze Ruby was available or pre-order and was originally planned to be released in March 2022.

Ruby was delayed due to it was the most complex maze RevoHQ had machines so far due to the tight tolerances and it was decided to therefor release it unplated as the plating
was not as precise as RevoHQ hoped. In early April 2022, after numerous design changes, Ruby prototype was finally sent out to three testers. The testers thought the maze wasn't hard enough so improvement suggestions were sent to RevoHQ and it resulted in redesign and a much harder maze.

The new improved prototype was later sent to the testers and finally version 10 was released in June 2022. Short after the release version 10 was recalled due to a shortcut and soft lock had been found by one of the testers. The version 10 was therefor sent back to RevoHQ and replaced by version 12.

Collectors Set / CE Set
In March 2010 the CE-set was announced and limited to 250. The CE-set should include all the maze maps and a booklet explaining the story behind each puzzle. The Collectors Set should also includes an exclusive certificate showing all 6 individual certificates and all 6 maps on a single sheet to be framed. The set should be delivered in a black brief case and include stands for the CE sets to display the cores and sleeves.

There were different options for the CE-set:
- Gold plated or nickel plated
- Assembled or un-assembled for display

The black brief case was later changed to a wooden display box with precut/preformed protective foam.

The CE-set was initially the only way to get the Titanium and an Obsession version should initially be included if you wanted to solve it without damage/assembled your extreme version. In November 2011 it was announced that the CE set will have two complete Titanium Extreme puzzles, one with a plated core for display/collecting and the other with an unplated core for using/solving the puzzle. The un-plated version was sent out before the CE-set was released.

The first batch of the CE-set was released in March 2013.

In February 2017, the CE Booklet was finally finished and should have been sent out to CE-set owners but only a few received it.

Some are still waiting for their CE-sets and most of us are waiting for the history booklets and we are all still waiting for the certificate and stands.

Bead Blasted 4 Set Limited Edition
RevoHQ had some poor anodized Indigo's from an anodizer who made a very bad job and they decided to bead-blast them together with some others with small blemishes that were in the workshop.

The total amount of bead-blasted sleeves were:

Indigo (11)
Gunmetal (6)
Blue (6)
Green (3)

Chris put the Blue, Green, Indigo and Gunmetal together into 3 sets and the rest were sold individually. These are all engraved with CE (Collectors Edition) and was made available to the public August 24 2018, and sold out quickly.

Due to Chris did a mistake and stated LIMITED EDITION on the invoice, there will no more bead-blasted versions for these four Revomazes so only 26 of them will exist in total. The Collectors Edition will therefor be treated as Limited Edition.

The serial for the three bead-blasted sets are engraved with CE (Collectors Edition):

BU1of3CE - GR1of3CE - IN1of3CE - GM1of3CE
BU2of3CE - GR2of3CE - IN2of3CE - GM2of3CE
BU3of3CE - GR3of3CE - IN3of3CE - GM3of3CE

The Black Merc will also be bead-blasted and will be limited to 22.

Obsession
In September 2009 RevoHQ announced the "Kid Safe Plastic Version" which was 200g vs 600g for the metal version, and should be launched with the price £19.99 and the planned release late November 2009. The first mazes that was announced was Blue, Green, Black and the new Red.

Unlike the metal version, the shaft was, to begin with, not removable but reveals a unique number that was leading to a website with rewards.

The pre-orders for the plastic versions started late September 2009.

Initially the plastic versions was called "Extremes", but shortly after the "Extreme" title was given to the metal version in March 2010 the plastic versions was changed to "Obsession".

For a short period, when the Obsessions v1 (ridged sleeves) first came out, you could choose to have either a blue, black or red sleeve (to any mazes), so the only way to identify the v1 mazes is by the sticker on the end.

Later (October 2010) the Obsession v2 was introduced with smooth sleeves and removable core.

In November 2010 we could also read about a planned plastic version of the Titanium that only should be included in the CE-set.

In September 2011 it was announced that the new Obsession v2 maze "Pro-Blue" should be made (300 puzzles).

In April 2013 we could read that the Obsession puzzle was initially manufactured on mass but since the sales of this range weren't strong enough to have another mass run produced RevoHQ had a last smaller number manufactured to use up the last of their plastic components hence the rise in price. The manufacturing process of the plastic Obsession is exactly the same as that of the metal Extreme and therefore machining costs are the same making the only real saving material.

Black Obsession V2 (Merc)
The original Revomaze Black V1 was made by the first engineers and after the change to new engineers, a new Black Obsession V2 was produced by the new engineers called Merc Engineering.

The maze was released November 2011 and a completely different maze than the V1 version and also a much more difficult puzzle compared to the V1 version.

At first you revealed the certificate in the middle of the maze and had to continue with the second half to be able to complete the entire puzzle and remove the core. This was later changed in the design.

Black V2 Revomaze has been the only design not done in metal until 2021 when the Black Merc Extreme was released.

Mercury (R2)
The R2 series is based on the features of the planets and Chris has found Mercury to be very interesting because it has so many craters. This made the puzzle interesting from a design point of view and Chris wanted to represent the planet as best as he could.

The pre-order for Mercury started late April 2013 and only available to the voyagers. The price was £100 excluding VAT and the difficulty rating is 50/100.

All R2 puzzle backs will be anodized Matt Black and the Mercury top/maze is anodized with the color Gunmetal. The drawbar will be the same color for all the R2 puzzles.

The R2 puzzles doesn't include any certificate but there should have been a coin inside but they wont be available until later. The Mercury was delivered in a velvet pouch in a cardboard box. The pouches are to protect the puzzles until the boxes are sent with Ceres.

The R2 series are manufactured in-house and the original plan was that batch #1 of 20 puzzles should have been shipped by the end of May 2013. The first batch is an initial test to gather feedback on the new R2 puzzles.

The Mercury batch #1 was first delayed due to that Chris had not initially thought the production would be as time consuming and that the current machinery Chris had would take many hours to produce just one puzzle part. The backs have taken the longest time to produce, originally Chris was using a 3mm cutter which took around 9 hours to produce one back, and by increasing the cutter to 8mm he was able to drop this down to 6 hours. Chris later bought a 12mm cutter which reduced the time down to approx. 3 hours. In the end of January 2014 Chris had invested 280hrs in these first batch of 20 puzzles alone.

In early February 2014 the first batch was packed and ready for delivery but a last minute problem with a 1mm too short draw bar stopped it and Chris had to re-assemble and re-package batch #1 with a new draw bar (version 2) and could send it out in the middle of February 2014. After feedback from the first batch of 20 test puzzles, Chris re-designed the draw bar to version 3 and sent it out to batch #1 owners in the end of March 2014.

Batch #2 (20 puzzles) was shipped early October 2014. Batch #2 had an identical maze design as batch #1 but the operation of the puzzle has been improved so that it turns smoother. Batch #2 also had modifications to the drawbar & pin, a new spring and the 3 small o-rings which sit beneath the centre and was replaced with one larger ring, which have been made based on the feedback from batch #1.

In the middle of February 2015 all the R2 backs for batch #3 & #4 where ready and Chris started to machine the mazes.

Chris decided to do a re-design for Batch #3 and #4 due to the feedback using the R2 puzzles was not as good as for R1. Chris changed the way the maze sat on the base and made the bb's fixed. Chris also added a trust needle bearing under the centre which is sprung loaded to apply constant down force pressure making the maze always at the same height and run exceptionally smoother. Earlier it had the springs in the base pushing the maze up and hence not allow a consistent puzzle. One other change was that the centre is locked in itself and freeing the drawbar to run smoothly.

In September 2015 Chris announced that he will stop working with batches and instead complete and release one puzzle at a time. In March 2016 Chris wrote that the mazes had been finished (unclear if this was for all 40 in batch #3 & #4) and he was working on the centers and draw bars so they should soon be ready to be shipped. In February 2017 Chris wrote that the "last" Mercury puzzles will have the new roller bearing version.

The last R2 update we have seen is from July 2021 where the goal was to have all Mercury orders completed by the end of the year 2021. We do know that today (April 2022) there are still people waiting for their Mercury puzzle...

Revomaze R2 Voyager Status
In the middle of March 2013, the Revomaze R2 Voyager Status was up for order for £50 excl VAT and limited to 100.

This was the RevoHQ description of what you got for your money:
Becoming a Revomaze Voyager not only gives you the opportunity to win the Revomaze R1 Voyager puzzle but also entitles you to collect all 10 puzzles at a set price. As well as giving you the opportunity to collect all future Special Edition puzzles including; Makemake, Eris and Haumea.

Benefits:
1. All R2 puzzles available to Voyagers for 7 days before general sale.
2. Collect all 10 Voyager puzzles for a set price of £100 per puzzle.
3. Receive the R2 Cosmic Collectors Cases.
4. Entry into the R2 Voyager Competition.
5. First refusal on all Revomaze Limited & Special Edition puzzles.

There is no obligation or time frame involved in the purchase of each of the 10 puzzles. Simply collect and solve at your leisure. See Voyager Page for details of the Inner and Outer Collections.
Each R2 maze conceals a voyager coin and each coin contains a coded message. The first Revo voyager to decode that message will win the solitary Revomaze R2 Voyager puzzle (R2 prototype). This is the R2 Voyager Challenge/Competition, but so far we have not seen any coin for Mercury.

There are plans for two Special Edition R2 puzzles which are Ceres and Pluto and these are only available to the 100 Voyager Status holders who have purchase the previous puzzles and will not be reproduced regardless of future demand. RevoHQ has also announced that Ceres will be shipped with a 10 way wooden case to each customer who has purchased the first 5. This case will have protective foam slots for each puzzle and machined with a R2 plaque. When all 10 puzzles have been shipped they will be beautifully displayed in this case.

By purchasing Voyager Status you are not committed to buying each puzzle in the series, all those who purchase Mercury will be then offered Venus and those who obtain Venus will be offered Earth and so forth.

The Voyager Status was initially non-refundable, however RevoHQ has no issue with any customer wishing to sell their rights to the puzzles to another, and they only want to be informed of the change and given the new Status holders details. This new customer will take on the serial number chosen by the former.

When the entire series has been released, the R2 puzzles will be available outside of the 100 voyager members.

November 2018 RevoHQ had reduced the number of R2 Voyager Status down from 100 to 50 until ALL the pre-orders are out and the ones that have pre-orders will still get their puzzles.

Makemake & Eris (R2)
In March 2014 it was announced that RevoHQ will be producing two special Limited Edition R2 puzzles, exclusive to Voyager Status holders and the pre-order sold out immediately. Makemake and Eris will be the only limited R2 puzzles and limited to just 20 each with the price £250 excl VAT. It was initially a plan for a third special Limited Edition Haumea but it was decided to only produce two.

Both puzzles will be jet black with gold plating and each delivered in their own beautiful display boxes.

R2 Jupiter Prototype
In November 2012 we heard about the R2 Jupiter Prototype for the first time and in early December 2012 we received information that the main R2 collection will contain all 8 major planets ranging in difficulty depending on size and number of moons. RevoHQ decided to begin with Jupiter as a prototype, which will be the most difficult puzzle in the series and was used to plan the design of the puzzles and incorporates techniques used in the R2 series. The size of the puzzle is 105x25mm.

The R2 Jupiter Prototype puzzle was featured in the Wired Magazine August 2013 (UK Edition) in detail so the maze design will not be used again (the final version of Jupiter will be another maze).

In Februari 2014 a R2 Jupiter Prototype lottery was announced. There where 49 tickets available (representing the numbers 1-49) at a cost of £120 each (only available for people with Voyager status). The first draw was on 1st March 2014 on the UK National Lottery. All people who did not win, had their £120 put towards their next puzzle in the R2 series. The lucky winner was ReVoRabbit.

Cardboard Tube Package
The Revomaze was initially sent in a a lazer cut foam padded box with a magnetic catch. The colors on the boxes differed but the most common box was a white box with a white sleeve. It also occurred black boxes with white sleeve and pink boxes with white sleeve.

In late 2010, the Revomazes was started to be sent in the new plain black/brown cardboard tube with white caps. The tube was soon announced to be phased out November 15, 2010 due to it didn't reach the level of quality required. RevoHQ also wrote that they couldn't go back to the original flip-top boxes as they where currently unavailable.

I vote for Prodigy becoming the administrator of this forum, there is no one out there with so much devotion, passion and stability mentally wise, so to the HQ: please give prodigy access to the forum code, so all the bugs can be ironed out.

There seem to be no administrators alive anymore on this forum.
