Series code acetate maps?

Post by doc81 »

I've seen references to series code acetate maps for the mazes on the forums here. Were official maps of the mazes from HQ ever released? Any file associated with this that I've seen has long expired. Thanks!

I always assumed (based on reading posts) that they were available in the opened forum.

Maybe only user maps though....

I see no reason not to make them available to the appropriate group(s)

There are plenty of user made maps in the opened areas. I am talking about an official map. In the blue and green opened areas there is a thread called the "series code map". Within this there is an attachment from 5 years ago that is no longer able to be opened. I am wondering what this map is.

There once were a contest in the main series
Blue green bronze silver gold
In each you would get an acétate of part of a map and if all solve first you could answer something to win a special revo I think purple

Maybe older revomazer could correct that
The contest is way over

Yeah it was an old Meta contest. I never participated because I went for the CE as my primary set, I think those were supposed to be included in the CE's along with a book, but they weren't. I received my set in October 2013 and I believe the series code / Meta contest was over earlier in 2013. It was if I recall initially supposed to be the only way to acquire a Purple maze but I think in the end only two out of 20 were handled that way. I think that was the only use of those maps.

Since the competition is long finished, if a mod, admin or someone from Revomaze HQ gives me permission I will post an image of all the acetate maps and the final combined image.... but only if I’m allowed? Or I can send it to them for review and they can post it?

This is what it was all about...

Blue, Green, Bronze, Silver

Gold didn't have an acetate inside  , the final map was emailed out once the Gold was open

Titanium which completes the puzzles in a collectors edition.

All acetates placed on top of each other gives the final map which I have enlarged. :)
