REVOMAZE User Group

While we are waiting for new Revomazes to solve or in between solving your Revomazes at home, we need something else to do that is Revomaze related.

So here we have the Revomaze Speed Solving High Score List!

The rules:

• 1. You cannot report an old speed solving result (we all start from today, so we all have to refresh and learn the old/new mazes again).
  2. It is not allowed to make shortcuts. The Revomaze must be solved the intended (official) way. So no banging, wall climbing or other tricks.
  3. You should always start with the maze in a completely reset state.
  3. You should start with the pin ~180 degrees from the entrance (in the start/reset path).
  4. The maze is solved when the two dots are completely aligned.
  5. It is allowed to restart the maze and retry (without a full reset) if the stopwatch is not stopped. So you don't have to complete the maze without a single mistake to be able to report your speed solving time.
  6. It is NOT allowed to use any external device such as a mapping tool or ruler on the shaft.
  7. The time should be rounded to one tenth.

How to measure your speed solving time:

• 1. Start your stopwatch without any hands on your Revomaze.
  2. Solve the maze until the dots are completely aligned (see the rules above for more information).
  3. Take your hands off your Revomaze and stop your stopwatch.

Feel free to suggest additional rules if needed and ask if something isn't clear. My suggestion is also to exclude Red Extreme/Obsession (for different reasons).

I dont know, if thats fair. I mean I can open Aqua and Blue in under 1 min. I dont need to map again or something else.

Maybe we sould try to make a Forum Challenge, that all persons who wants to Start at the same time and then they will Count like a 100m run.

I peronaly think that thats is hard to make this "challange" possible and fair.

I think that the users in here are honest and will follow the rules and that this speed solving high score list can be something fun for us all. I think you should take a stopwatch and take the time for Aqua and Blue following the rules and I can add them here.

Why don't you think it can be fair? Something in the rules that I should change or do you think people will cheat and report better times than they actually did?

As for the potential of cheating... meh. Who cares. Nobody's losing sleep over this fun competition.

I am not good at all with solving things fast and I have not tried many mazes a second time after I first opened it. This will be a chance for me to re-solve my mazes I will start with the easier mazes like Aqua, but I guess these are the mazes I have least chance to be/stay in top 10.

My intention is that it will be a complete "high score list" with the top 10 best times for each maze with member names. If you get into top 10, the member at place number 10 will be removed from the top 10.

We will have fun and be impressed by all fast solving times that are much better than our own and hopefully we will find a maze that we can solve faster than others. So I want us to compete against each other to find the 10 fastest members for each maze.

We will also find the answer for "see how fast every Revo can opened"

And now I only need more Revos
