What do you think? Will it be too hard to not allow a ruler on the shaft?
I can only tell you my feeling about the Aqua and the beginning of the Silver.
After a good and exesive mapping. I think the Maps will be brand into your brains. So I think that it is even easyer just to map per hand and learn it and perfect it.

I Think that a mapper should not be allowed.
Only the good old pen and paper :)

Maybe someone who diddnt played for a while will map it again per hand and have a good remember to the old feelings.
I personally like it to map per hand.

I dont know if I only played way toooo much with my Aqua, but the Map is burned in my brain. I can open the Aqua on the first try. Ok, mabe on the second ;)

I Think to have the maze / map in your mind is Another good challenge/Training.
And I think that you can open a Revo with the full map in mind faster than with a mapper.
But as I sayed before I can only share my feelings about the Aqua and the beginning of the Silver.

I think we all have burned/scratched maps in our heads and even on other more intimate parts
This was not the point. Like your opinion (and also mine), Prodigy already removed the mapper from the rules as allowed. On some revos, the smallest movement in the wrong direction and you start the puzzle from the beginning. Prodigy was asked you, what do you think about extra markers on the sleeve or shaft that helps to avoid starting over the maze again and again, especially when you trying to be fast.

Hm than I understood it wrong. Sry : )

I think that markers on the sleeve should not be allowed.
Thats more a challenge of seeing it and feeling it.

As I sayed before: I can only say something about the Aqua. This special point in it. After a while it is possible to feel/ remember the path and the ammount of Rotating the puzzle.

Thats my personal opinion.

List updated. Do we need a special list for Black v1 or obsession? Or should we have them all together? How big is the difference between them?

As black extreme is missing in my collection, i don´t know if there is a reason to split Obsession/Extreme.
But Black V2 (only Obsession Version) needs a separate list.
