Let me know if you find it useful. I'm up for tweaking it or creating some variants if there's some interest.

Maybe a version that covered half the puzzle and add a couple grooves in the bottom. Then we could use them as storage cases and put a couple rubber bands around them to hold then together.

Interesting idea. I hadn't considered that, because I have the original boxes for mine. Now I have the profile tuned in for the revo itself, i can cut that particular shape out of anything. I designed it using openscad and will probably upload the files to thingiverse at some point. Means anyone can change/remix any way they like then.

I have revos that came from the factory without a box and some that came 2 to a box. While this was fine for shipping, once the plastic pouch and expanding protective sleeve were removed, storage options were not ideal. Which is why the moment i saw your stand, i thought it was a perfect option for protecting my puzzles.

I think I can present it as more of a toolkit. At the end of the day, once you have the shape of revomaze V1 set up you can construct any other shape, then subtract the revomaze from it. Any stand/case/display/etc could then be created without too much trouble.
I've already had one enquiry about making them, but honestly I'm not sure I have any intention of doing any more than sharing the design (after all, 3D printing is not exactly a fast process). Revomaze has an awesome community, so I'm just sharing on the chance I might be able to give something back.
RevoRabbit - do you have a 3D printer?
I'll report back in a couple of days. Presumably by cleaning up the openscad files, uploading them to thingiverse, and offering a couple of permutations of stands, cases, etc.

Really like the stand. Printed a second one today. Only thing I might do is put some rubber feet on it.

Weren't you working on a carbon fiber stand? Hows that going?
