RevoMaze Prism Light Spectrum!
Image
Hopefully some of you are familiar with this picture above. You can see a single beam of light splitting up into different colors of the light spectrum. This results from light diffracting through a glass prism. Different colors with different wavelengths diffract at different angles, giving this spectacular display as shown above.

I thought I would put my own RevoMaze twist on this picture. I present to you the RevoMaze Prism Light Specturm.

Note: This picture below is not the completed project. I am hoping that someone with decent Photoshop skills can replace the Silver RevoMaze with a Purple RevoMaze to complete the spectrum. Unfortunately I do not have a Purple RevoMaze, but fortunately, the world has Photoshop. Also, if you can cut out the seam in the prism too, that would be wonderful. There are two different versions with different lighting to play with below. If someone is able to correctly Photoshop this picture, please send me a private message. I will give credit to the person properly edit this photo. Thank You.

In my RevoMaze representation of the Prism Light Spectrum, I represented the originating light beam with the one-and-only RevoMaze 1. From this one puzzle, every other RevoMaze was possible. The different colors of the light spectrum are represented by a Red, Orange, Yellow (Gold), Green, Blue, and Purple RevoMaze. The prism here is a clear sleeve designed by TheJuggler.

I will also include full quality images for those of you who would like to use this as your wallpaper, or love high quality photos like me.

Prism 1
Prism 2

Also, for those of you interested, here are pictures of my production set up.

I love how your brain works. This is so cool!

Was a previous post a witty reference to the Pink Floyd album with the same cover? "You have a lot of time on your hands."

Well played.

I'll take it two steps further. You can use Any Colour You Like, but it will cost you some Money. :)

Hold your applause. I'm here all week. Tip your waitress.

Cool idea, also nice set-up. Also try to have more indirect light. Maybe with a big white board behind the puzzles.

Did you took them in RAW?

I actially did not. I didn't have any programs to handle RAW so I didn't think about turning it on.

I tried different light settings. My reason for the multiple lights was to avoid shadows across the puzzles.
