I'm more interested in working the puzzle than any form of ownership (and the purple would end up in some crime lab as the misses would kill me with it if I did buy it).

Anyone who spends that much on the Purple should get a free MRI scan to check for some kind of head injury.

No I wouldn't buy it, unless I won the lottery, then giving £6K to Chris and revomaze would seem like an investment, and, as i would have won the lottery £6000 would not be "that much".

my only chance at the purple though is through blue pro, but I don't think it is possible for myself, or win the (purple) lottery, as I don't tend to play the (normal camalot) lottery.

I'm with Mr Tea. If I won the actually lottery then I would. The Blue Pro is my only hope and I think that a huge pipe dream for my aging body to reach anywhere near 60 seconds.

I'd buy it if it were a reasonable price, not this outrageous amount...
I understand it is going to be in hot demand, but I'd be surprised if an auctioned purple would get this high...
I'll just take my chances...

I hate super limited versions of puzzles. I'd buy it for what I paid for Lime, or maybe more, since that apparently left some profit in the matter after the cost of manufacturing.

I can understand the HM limits, but the others bug me since they're cnc'd.

I'm sure I recall speaking with Chris ages ago and him mentioning that the intention was to make the Purples by hand too. The photos so far certainly hint towards this too.

Other than the black which can't be made any longer, the red which shouldn't be made, and the handmade which isn't cnc'd, the others (orange, lime and titanium) are still available... so which bugs you?

I personally wouldnt go above the price of a lime. Ive been weighing it up for a good few months and will be ordering a lime 2mora :D

Thats my price limit though

I do love the look of the purple though, some people are gonna be very happy when they get that coming through the post ;)
