Gee, what a mess on the floor!-)
Was that vacuum cleaner off, or does a vacuum cleaner not help when working on the lathe?
Very impressive work Neil, and you are expanding your impressive toolset as well!

They can be made in whichever mode you'd like ... clear, ribbed, V1, V2 (although I've not made a V2 ...

The Vac was on and I clamp it to the back of the lathe bed so it sucks up anything flying off the piece. Helps a lit with visibility especially with plastics which tend to form ribbons ...

It can only capture so much of the mess, and the rest is what's left on the floor!

I'd imagine that stuff is somewhat warm and sticky right off the machine and probably clumps up the vacuum... oh geez did I actually say all that?

Well I''m happy to say that I heard from one of the first people to receive their sleeve that it's working perfectly, and they seem happy with it. There's a few more which should be with their new owners soon, and when I get back from my trip I'll get back to making the next batch.
