The Vac was on and I clamp it to the back of the lathe bed so it sucks up anything flying off the piece. Helps a lit with visibility especially with plastics which tend to form ribbons ...a-maze-ing wrote:Gee, what a mess on the floor!-)

I'd imagine that stuff is somewhat warm and sticky right off the machine and probably clumps up the vacuum... oh geez did I actually say all that?

Well I''m happy to say that I heard from one of the first people to receive their sleeve that it's working perfectly, and they seem happy with it. There's a few more which should be with their new owners soon, and when I get back from my trip I'll get back to making the next batch.
