Competition rules & plastic knob

Hi - does anyone know if the plastic knob that fits on the end can be used in the competition? I have had a look through through the rules and can't see anything that prohibits it...? I have a condition called SFS (sweaty finger syndrome

) and the knob makes a big difference. But if it can't be used I'll have to start practising without. Cheers.

The plastic trainer cannot be used in the live event. As you said, it makes a big difference, hence why your not allowed it

No problem

To be honest, once you get used to it I think you'll find you can solve the puzzle faster without the trainer anyway

it hasnt been launched yet, but since so many people are putting hours into opening the REVOMAZE in one sitting they are having hand issues, so chris invented a plastic "training" knob to help prevent sore fingers. We'll see it for sale soon.

I just realised that one came in the bag when I bought it from TGS
I didn't even look in the bag after I took the box out, I was too excited to open the box ASAP

I could have used the "trainer"... Probably would have made my solution more reasonable, as I could only work on it for about 30 minutes at a time...
But now I've got endurance
Cheers,

Sure...
They are all clickable to see a large version of the picture.
It helps a lot with the pain in the fingers but there some of the finer moves that need to be made are a bit more difficult. I tend to hold further down the shaft and have the plastic bit in the palm of my hand.
