How do I/we bid?
Cause I want to. =)

Is it an open or closed (blind) auction?

Is it really fair to be bidding up mazes that haven't even been made yet. People will be ordering them just to sell them off. We where just lucky to see the release on the forum early. I want the maze to own it. I guess it's like wining the lottery.

Have to agree on that one, a collectors item should never be expensive, it should be hard to get your hands on.

Ultimately it's up to Chris. If he wants to allow it, fine. If he doesn't want to allow it, appropriate steps will be taken.

As a collector, I think you should be able to sell any of your puzzles whenever you want.

Selling stuff that you don't you don't physically have is a different matter and brings a lot of problems...But if Chris is ok with it?

I would be interested to know the values of my rarer pieces. Would anyone guess at what a Revo Black is worth? or a isis 1a, 1c

I think that if you physically have the puzzle and want to sell to the highest bidder go for it. Otherwise this just opens the door for speculation on future issues. Buying options on revomazes. I understand that peoples situations change or they change their minds. But wouldn't it be fair to just "return it", send a refund and go down the waiting list or make it a lottery? I'm sure there are long time revo's who just happened to be out of town or off the grid and missed out.

I realize Chris is the boss but this is a discussion group.

Having not been around when the black came out how did it work then? Wasn't there something on eBay ?

It was first come, first served. Nobody sold their maze before it arrived. The only ones sold have been sold since.

As you say, I believe those who have bought a puzzle and received it should be able to sell it on to whoever they want, be it here, on ebay, or off the forum. If, however, the puzzle has been paid for and NOT received, particularly in this case when the item is highly collectable and not even made yet, then I think the right thing to do is to take the situation as an order cancellation. ie. Chris refunds the money and Chris then takes a new order from someone else.

I think with all these different views I would hold on to the order and then sell once released.
It's a sad day when any have to be resold but DARKUNDERDOG does not look like he bought this to proffit! He would be upset if the HM's sold at a later date at a proffit and let his go at face value.
It's a hard call but I saw a black go to auction on here........at proffit!

I wish you all the best DARK as it's just a shame you are letting it go.
