I have a lot of friends who like mazes, but give up if they don't seem to be getting anywhere within 5 minutes....
Okay, so taday I remembred/made some time to take some pictures for those of you unable to attend. I'm going to try to sift throught the pictures as I cleary got carried away and have ended up with ~250... Hmm, mabye it's frm the shakey index finger from continually solving mazes today.

If there are pictures which blatantly show the maze then I'll maybe give them a blur. To be honest though, since the leaderboards are largely filled up Chris doesn't seem enormously bothered with people seeing the insides, at the show the blue, green and bronze are all on show with cut sleeves for anyone to see.

Anyway... just have to wait for the uploading now...

This is a fantastic idea, much like the 'trainer' thingy (and yes i believe thingy is a proper term) it would be cool to be able to order a clear acrylic/whatever sleeve that you could load a solved puzzle into. I of course presuppose that the pin locations are similar as I've only done 1 metal, the rest so far are obsessions. If you could only buy it as the sleeve you wouldn't be giving anything away as you'd have to solve the original before it's even useful. And I again presuppose that no one would share solutions with it.

I'd buy it anyway just to watch it and demonstrate it to some friends.

Ok, so as promised, here are a selection from the pictures I took from the show. Yes, a few of them show the inside of some mazes but to be honest if you manage to use the information from any of the pictures to solve your maze then in my opinion you've done an amazing job. If there are any picutres that people want taking at tomorrows show then let me know and I'll see what can be done. (click for bigger pictures)

awesome photos! Thank you!

I wonder if the "Gold" in the case is a real Gold revo :)

I had meant to build an acrylic sleeve on the laser cutter...
hmmmmm.... :)

Looks like a fun time. Those "cut away" mazes are really cool, and I'm not getting anything new from them. Hope the weekend goes well.

Okay, I need some explanation for that prototype. It's seriously confusing.

No problem dude! Nope the gold isn't a real gold... then again I'm told all the golds are unique and theres some calculation of something that need to be calculated *before* you should even start on the gold... thats the plan anyway, I believe.

There are is a proto metal red there too but I perposly haven't looked at it so as not to spoil it for myself. The only reason I knew what it was was because I saw the rainbow... OMG, it looks sooo different to what it feels like... true evil. (metal & plastic red I believe have similatities but are not the same)

Playing with it doesn't help the confustion thing. I'm unsure if we'll ever see this as on the product line since that other bork has decided to his very similar (if not the same) puzzle... time will tell...
