I messaged the seller to ask if it was a red core. He didn't know, as he had been given it about a year ago but had never completed it ............ I asked him to check the "trap line" and see what course it took. No reply yet.

You could also ask what colour sticker is on the ends of the core

Already did that. Said that there was no sticker.

Hmm, how do people keep losing sticker from the ends of the cores?? THe last obsession on ebay with a red sleeve was also missing stickers.... I wonder if it's the same one?

Sounds like a clever ploy to get more money.

Paradox (Oli), thanks for the info and warning about red sleeves and blue mazes, I didn't know in the early days people could choose the colour of their sleeves...
