VAT

Post by adamwest »

I hope everyone caught the VAT announcement . link It's nice that he is only starting in Feb. Correct me if I am wrong but VAT doesn't apply to individual purchases from abroad, correct? Anyway BUY BUY BUY it's like getting a 17% discount on future purchase if you purchase them now ;) . I hope everyones Holidays went well.

My understanding is that products shipped to the US from the EU are VAT Excludable. At least, other suppliers I have purchased from have done that, and the few laws on that point I have seen seem to indicate that. However, it really comes down to how Chris' registration process goes and what the UK Gov tells him when he asks.
