Does the spring drop out with the pins when solved? If so, I need to keep searching the carpet

Awesome that's what I was hoping, just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the reply while I wait for my assembly instructions!

Edit: got my instructions and it went back together like a charm!

Hey Steve, that's awesome ..

In keeping with the err... 'spirit' of the recent posts, what to lubricate the shaft with? Just 3-in-1 oil or other?

Couldn't resist (but serious question) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Thanks!

3-in-1 is fine, but only use a tiny amount else you end up with it everywhere and you'll have a very slippy shaft. Put a small drop in the maze before you reset it, as you play with it it should spread the oil around :)

Excellent thanks. Anyone else have any luck with any other means of cleaning up the smudging on the shafts? Heard vinegar or metal polish ....

I've managaed to wipe the smudging off with a dry cloth. If you get a persistant bit the a small amount of vinegar can help but I'd make sure you remove the vinegar befor reassembling.

I'd say metal polish is too harsh... do it enough and you'll land up with a brass shaft :?
