Gloves

Post by left027 »

So I noticed my bronze had some brown-ish regions on the shaft by the time I was done with it and now my silver is getting a few spots on it. :(

Now I'm wearing latex gloves. Anyone else have this problem?

Do you mean you've rubbed off the sleeve dye onto the shaft with your hands?

The inside of the sleeve is usually scarred and scratched by the draw pin and maze bumps ... is it this residual that adorns the maze shaft perhaps?

No I'm pretty sure it's not from the sleeve. I've got little brown spots on my green shaft and the beginnings of the spots on my silver. No additional development since I started wearing gloves. Maybe my hands are sweaty. :( They seem pretty dry though.

Are you losing some of the chrome plating off of the shaft? By the time I openend my Bronze I had lost a good 10% of the plating which left a lot of brass areas exposed, but Nicole kindly sorted out a replacement maze for me.

Hey,

Apparently the problem could be arising due to the acidity of our fingers. It just tarnishes the plating.

You could try using Silvo metal metal or Autosol metal polish.

This should clean it up! :D
