Plastic Revo Design

I am interested in the plastic version, but a tad concerned about wear and tear (especially the wear aspect). The puzzles get hours of play! Internally are the pins (or pin singular perhaps?) plastic?
I like the fact that the shaft won't come out having had an accident with a pin disappearing down the back of a sofa

We have had one for a a few weeks and it has been at my mothers 80th party with loads of kids and clumsy adults. It still works fine giving a positive click.

The precision engineering and the design make it so reliable and smooth.

It is not a match on the metal - but between them, the plastic has been dropped many times without a flinch.

We am arranging some testing with Kids and some forum members who will report back.

I am very confident. ReVoMate has one so can be an independent on this.

Kind regards

Chris

Just checked the website. I love the range of colours.

*edit*

Might send it to my uncle at his school and ask him to pass it around the classes.

What are the mazes in these extreme versions like?
Are they the same as the metal RevoMazes?
Or are they new/different?
The name "RevoRed" has most of us shivering already, I assume this plastic 'red' maze is not the same?

They are similar Blue (but easier) Green & Black (with some adjustments) but the Red is a new design I am putting forward (about as hard as the Bronze).

They are High quality "Machined" not moulded and have a great feel to them. The shaft cannot be removed without destroying it.

They do not form part of the main competition but may encourage others to try. There is a separate rewards planned.

We are aiming at the Family so all ages can have a go. If you have the metal versions - the two that I would recommend is the Black and Red. We are also doing some limited edition Red and Blue Sleeves.

I am amazed how many have already pre-ordered!

ReVoMate has one and says its great in the hand and does not hurt his wrist (he broke) so looks promising!

So let me get this right. there are 4 shafts and 3 bodies to choose from? Are there going to be more shafts and or bodies possibly coming out in the future?

Hi RevoRabbit

Only 4 at the moment - but why not have a a user designed one? Maybe 8-) ...

We could have 10 designs - but we will wait and see :D

Cheers

Good to see you folks again. I miss the forum. I am traveling way too much.

Is the body of the plastic Revomaze plastic as well? it looks exactly like the metal puzzles.

Yup, it's all plastic. When Chris sent me one, I had to tap it on my desk to make sure it wasn't metal. It looks exactly like the ReVoBlack. In fact, I think it is more addictive. All light and clicky yet VERY well made! Haha!
